In the Learning Studio and Beyond

At Creative Inclusion, we offer flexible, trauma-informed support through both our welcoming Learning Studio and our outreach work in homes, schools, and community spaces.
Young people can attend the Learning Studio for up to three days per week, engaging in personalised programmes that nurture their strengths and interests. Alongside this, our outreach team meet young people where they feel most comfortable—whether that’s at home, in familiar school settings, or out in the community—ensuring continuity, connection, and care across every environment.
Our services are therapeutic, educational, creative, and designed to meet neurodivergent children and young people where they are—developmentally, emotionally, and relationally. Each service is delivered by qualified professionals who understand the importance of safety, trust, and individualised support.
Whether through one-to-one mentoring, group coaching, sensory regulation, or academic pathways, our services are built around the belief that every young person deserves to feel seen, heard, and empowered.
We tailor our support to include:
Trauma-informed therapeutic interventions
Developmentally respectful academic tutoring
Creative and vocational workshops
Sensory fitness and wellbeing coaching
Family and professional outreach and training
At Creative Inclusion, we understand that meaningful progress happens when young people feel seen, supported, and safe. That’s why we offer tailored 1:1 support across both mentoring and academic tutoring—delivered in our Learning Studio, or as part of our Outreach Service at home, in schools, or out in the community.
1:1 Bespoke Mentoring
Our mentoring is relational, responsive, and rooted in trust. Whether it’s a quiet walk, a creative project, or a sensory regulation session, mentors attune to each young person’s needs and interests. These sessions build emotional resilience, confidence, and self-awareness—laying the foundation for growth across all areas of life and learning.
Tutoring – GCSE & Functional Skills:
Our tutoring is personalised to each young person’s learning profile, pace, and goals. We offer support in core subjects including English, Maths, and Science, with pathways toward GCSEs, Functional Skills, or alternative qualifications. Tutors use trauma-informed strategies and adaptive teaching methods to ensure learning feels achievable, relevant, and empowering.
Alternative Learning Pathways: In our Learning Studio
We offer inclusive, flexible pathways shaped around growth, recovery, creativity, and learning: Together, we change the story of what learning can feel like.

Pathways, approaches & benefits
Health & Wellbeing
Mindfulness, sensory regulation, emotional literacy, self-awareness, and resilience. Through trauma-informed practices, movement-based regulation, creative expression, and guided reflection, young people learn to understand and manage their emotions in ways that feel safe and empowering.
Academic Learning
Our Academic Learning pathway is rooted in personalised, developmentally respectful teaching. We support diverse learning profiles by adapting content, pace, and delivery to meet each young person where they are. Whether building foundational literacy and numeracy or exploring thematic projects, we foster curiosity, confidence, and a sense of achievement.
Practical Life Skills
This pathway equips young people with everyday skills for independence and self-advocacy. From cooking and budgeting to travel training and navigating social situations, we embed learning in real-life contexts. The focus is on building autonomy, confidence, and practical competence in ways that feel meaningful and achievable.
Vocational Training
Our Vocational Training opens doors to creative and purposeful career pathways. Through hands-on workshops in digital media, art, gardening, and more, young people explore their interests while exploring new interests and developing transferable skills. We nurture entrepreneurial thinking, teamwork, and self-expression, helping young people imagine futures that reflect their passions and strengths.
Empowering Creators
Our Alternative Learning Pathways (ALP) provide young people with the opportunity to become Creators - active participants in their own growth, discovery, and success.
Through our four inclusive pathways - Health & Wellbeing, Academic, Practical Life Skills, and Vocational Training - Creators explore their interests, build confidence, and develop meaningful skills. As they engage with each pathway, they earn Creator’s Badges that celebrate progress, creativity, and personal achievement.
Whether it’s becoming a Sports Creator, Star Baker Creator, or Mathematics Creator, each badge reflects a unique journey and contributes to a vibrant portfolio that honours who they are and how they learn best.
